this is a picture of a couple i met on the melt festival 2005. a picture that i will show my children one day and say: “this was when your mum was young”. i couldn´t stop looking at this boy and (t)his girl..

it was in may 2007 when i decided to visit a friend in vietnam. i stayed one month.
the best way you can cross the streets is on a little motorbike. it´s fun.
on this journey i had a chance to travel through faces. young. old. exhausted. rich. poor. but this is the stange thing about rich and poor. many people live on the streets but they express so much happyness and love through their eyes. there is both. no day passes by that i´m not thinking of this days and nights in vietnam.
